My Studio, My Creative Story
Finding Inspiration
Whilst I'm often asked to share a glimpse into my studio space I've been hesitant, as I guess it isn't typically representative - but I can claim it to be a light filled space with an eclectic mix of old and new - practical storage softened by well loved vintage pieces.
Here is a little glimpse into my workspace
Inspiration
I guess every creative artist has a story - mine is quite a simple one -I've always been inspired by the places I've called home, my garden which is wild and beautiful and the large collection of documents, letters & greeting cards together with vintage French clothing, lace and embroideries I was surrounded by as a child, saved so lovingly over the years by my Mother and Grandmother. We had the house that kept on giving - always something new to find in an attic, box or trunk. I have inherited these things; some of the vintage photographs feature in my work - scanned and printed from the originals for all to enjoy.
I've always been creative and I love to find Brocante items to use in my creativity and my home. aljiche:)
